Salisbury School in Nelson is a boarding school for girls with intellectual disabilities and behavioral challenges. It’s at risk of closure, but there’s a strong, passionate call to keep the school open. The girls here have each other for support. Some continue to be isolated intentionally on their own, while others quickly get attached to each other. Living together makes them aware of each other and yet they find happiness together. The video captures the one week spent at the residential school for girls with mental disabilities and how it makes an impact on her.
