LIVING WITH HEARING IMPARIMENT

Ellie Taylor, in this very short video shares how she lives with a hearing impairment. Giving us a demonstration, Ellie tells us how she cannot hear the car they just went past her, or the bird that chirped on the tree or the stranger who walked up to her and insisted on talking to her and getting angry because she wasn’t responding! She cannot enjoy music, she cannot help a person asking for directions because they talk too fast.  The danger of crossing a road because you cannot hear the honk of the car…all these small things add up to making it a hearing loss for her.  An impairment that she did not choose for herself.
