Emily Korir – Overcoming disability and the MBA

Emily Korir was 30 when she suffered a stroke. She came under the category of a person with a disability.  Undaunted the minute she got her speech back and could count to 3, she had already made up her mind to do her MBA. To quote Emily, ‘People with disabilities are not limited by their abilities.’  Her attempt to take on the long term goal and make a success of it gave her an immense sense of accomplishment in front of her children. They cannot let anybody else’s perception of them become a reality. ‘. Hats off to Emily and her strong beliefs that helped turn her life around even after a massive stroke
