At get to know Reach out and Read we do not encounter or talk about any physical disability. Instead we just talk about the need to read and the opportunities that are given for children to read. This is an initiative in a paediatric ward of the hospital where they believe that all families should be given the required tools and information they need to make reading aloud a daily routine. The parents are advised about the kinds of books that are age appropriate and which will also give the child insight into developing good healthy habits.
