Common health issues among people learning disabilities

This video highlights the common health issues among people with a learning disability. Collete Meredew Lynch is a Acute Learning Disability Liaison Nurse who explains what are these common health issues among people learning disabilities.  She cites a number of these health issues.  The topmost among them being chest infections and respiratory illnesses, followed by aspiration pneumonia and coronary heart diseases. This is specifically the problem among people with Down Syndrome. In the video she discusses further kinds of  problems a person may be afflicted with like dementia or even cancer. The video makes you sit up and take notice.
