Accommodations and Modifications for students with disabilities. This video explores the basic requirements which when done will go a long way in helping raise the bar of the school and the performance of the students. These kind of educational supports are similar, but not the same. Accommodations changes how a student accesses information, participates in the school activities and/ or demonstrates their learning. They do not change the syllabus or the curriculum. Modifications on the other hand, change what is being taught or what the student is expected to learn or demonstrate. This video outlines these steps in a very clear manner.
